This 450 yr old cosy cottage offers ancient inglenooks and beams
Curl up in the lounge with a book, a film, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet
Wifi, Paramount+ and Prime TV channels are available
as are board games, books and chess.

A welcome food pack awaits you in the fully equipped kitchen
set up for self-catering, along with an
honesty bar for a cool beer or glass of wine.

The garden is a peaceful spot to enjoy morning coffee, or sit and listen to the evening chorus of birds and the deer’s barking whilst soaking up the calm of the surrounding countryside.

Yes children aged 10 and above are most welcome and can help the hosts to feed them at teatime
Unfortunately dogs cannot stay at Driftway Stables Retreat, except by prior agreement or if it is assistance or service dog.
The cottage is available to you from 3pm on the day of your arrival. A keysafe is available so you can arrive at your leisure. Check out time is by 10am on the day of departure. A later check out time of midday is available for £10
Yes there is ample parking, you have your own allocated parking space adjacent to the cottage, there is an EV charger (at cost) and a dry barn for parking precious cars and motorbikes (at cost)

Yes there is central heating and hot water. There are ceiling fans above the beds in the bedrooms.
No, the house is non smoking throughout, but you can smoke outside in the garden only. An ashtray is provided for you by the garden bench.
No the horses are competition horses but you can help the hosts to feed and pet them at teatime
No, but you have a fully equipped kitchen set up for self catering. A welcome food pack is left in the fridge for you, and a bottle of bubbly. The white horse pub with award winning restaurant is 600 metres walking distance. Numerous pubs with excellent restaurants are all in nearby villages.

Yes there are various golf courses and fishing lakes nearby. An 18 hole golf course is at Diss.
No, the horses are highly spirited and will get very frightened by the noise of kicking a football around.
